Adam North Peigan

 

Adam has spent his career advocating for the need of Aboriginal Programs and Services in Health, Child and Family, Employment and Training, Education, Housing, Justice and Reconciliation. Adam has numerous years of experience in Governance as a member of Boards and Committees in the Indigenous communities in BC and Alberta. He has served in leadership in his community of Piikani as a member of Chief and Council. Adam has held Public Office being appointed by the Minister of Health in British Columbia in 1998 as a Governor to one of the largest Health Authorities in BC, the South Fraser Health Region.

Adam has held positions in leadership as the Senior Administrator for the Tsawwassen First Nation in BC, the Chief Executive Officer for the Wesley First Nation in Morley and the Chief Executive Officer for the Canadian Native Friendship Center in Edmonton.
